THE FIRST EPISODE of the new series of ‘The Toughest Trade’ aired last night and featured Tipperary’s Brendan Maher having a go at cricket in Australia and former England international Steve Harmison trying his hand at hurling with Borrisoleigh.
Maher learned the value of a cup in his new sport and, after some initial nerves, looked like he could make a decent cricketer with a bit more time.

THE FIRST EPISODE of the new series of ‘The Toughest Trade’ aired last night and featured Tipperary’s Brendan Maher having a go at cricket in Australia and former England international Steve Harmison trying his hand at hurling with Borrisoleigh.
Maher learned the value of a cup in his new sport and, after some initial nerves, looked like he could make a decent cricketer with a bit more time.
Harmison, however may have stolen the show as the type of player who could ‘stop others from hurling.’
High praise indeed.
